Get rid of TV - Get Joost !

What you are seeing is a full screen snapshot of Joost TV on my laptop, you can see the channels bar on the left and the controls in the middle.

Joost has been in the news for some time now. As soon as i heard about the same i signed up for beta testing the same and guess what i got my username / password and have been beta testing Joost.

So what is joost - it is a new service basically it is TV on the internet.

Ok wats so new about it, wat is new is the way it provides tv (technically it is a new way of streaming. It is pretty good and does not consume so much band width.

There are 28 channels right now, i like "The Diddy channel" they air a lot of music videos.

There are many advantages of internet tv, you can do other work as well as watch tv, you can talk to your friends while online and watch tv, check your mail or do anything on your pc.

Also one good thing is wherever you carry your laptop you can see your tv there :)

It if free right now to beta test, i am not sure how much this service would cost. Already i have been watching an indian television called Sun TV via paid subscription and it is pretty good.

Again here is the advantage when you are away from home you still get to see your favourite channels when you want them in your bed room.
